The same can largely be said of JavaScript:

* function as class -> class

* function() {} -> ()=>{}

* callback -> promise

* var -> let, const

Every year there's something else new that you are told you are doing wrong.

Well of course but Javascript is in unique position to do those kind of things, other languages have to be careful not to alienate its communities.
